Re: Sarah Palin
I hope she's not as annoying as the guy voting for her.
Saul Anuzis is the right
Saul Anuzis is the right candidate for RNC Chairman.

Why not a first and 2nd choice on the poll?
I chose my first choice but would love to have a poll for 2nd choice, too. If we were able to make a first and 2nd choice we might be more able to pick the ones most liked by the majority.
Next chair
There are two big factors when it comes to selecting the next chairman of the RNC. The first is strong conservative values. The second, is the determination and knowledge to help rebuild the party. The one candidate that stands out on both parts is Saul Anuzis. He is actively participating in a new movement of grassroots conservatism. He is the one candidate that stands out as an avid embracer of technology as a means of communication. In the coming years, the use of technology for everything will increase, not decrease, and what we need now is a forward thinking man like Saul Anuzis.
Wow.
This Michael Steele?
Michael Steele
I would vote for Michael Steele to be President. He is a good guy.
GO STEELE!!
ON COMMUNICATING AN EFFECTIVE MESSAGE
“I think the other thing that I’ve found that’s been lacking over the last four years, especially the last two cycles--’06 and ’08—we don’t know how to talk to people. We’ve absolutely forgotten how to communicate a message … to espouse those principles in the context of people’s everyday lives. … Our party needs to have a voice, it needs to have a relevant voice that people can identify with.”
-----
ON AN ECONOMIC STIMULUS PACKAGE AND THE LAME DUCK SESSION
“We put $700 billion on the table that we didn’t have. We’re now trying to carve out an extra $300 billion to put on the table. My question is, when does it stop? You don’t want to keep feeding this trough here that people on the Hill seem to want to be at.
“[And] to the Republicans in the House and in the Senate, over this lame duck session you can be against a whole lot of things but you better start to be about something and for something, as well. Out party can’t just be in a position where we’re sitting back going ‘no to this, no to that, no to that’ without any explanation, number one, and without some alternative proposal to put on the table.”
-----
ON THE EXPERIENCE HE WILL BRING TO THE RNC
“I bring a different experience to the table. I was a grassroots guy from day one. I started out here in my hometown of DC working the streets and knocking on doors. I then worked the central committee in Maryland, Prince George’s County. Became chairman of the party there for six years. State chairman. An elected official and lieutenant governor of the State of Maryland. Now I’m chairing GOPAC, a national grassroots organization that’s geared toward training and electing Republican candidates. So I think I bring a host of different perspectives to the table. … I want to make our party relevant and I think the experience I bring to the table will help us do that. I’m tired of us sitting with our heads in the sand complaining and finger pointing. Let’s get up, pick ourselves up, go out here and engage the fight. I want to be the loyal opposition to this incoming administration.”
We need to clean house!
I have to tell you I think this is the guy to clean up the ethics and corruption mess in the Repubican Party!! We need a lot more Michael Steeles and a lot fewer Duke Cunninghams and Jack Abramofs. Win baby win.
Michael Steele For RNC Chair!
I am from Maryland and I would support Michael Steele in a heartbeat. I supported him when was with Bob Ehrlich as Lt. Gov. He is a true conservative, intelligent, well spoken. I had the opportunity to meet him too. Michael would make a great RNC Chair and I would love to see him serving again as an elected official.
That would be a dynamic pairing,.
I love Sarah Palin too and I really feel she is another promising star for the republicans, I just don't feel she has enough experience quite yet, she would make a great vice chair. I really want to see her go for the White House again in 2012. How about a Michael Steele/ Sarah Palin ticket?

Steele was Big Government in the Primary
Steele was very much a mouth piece for those who are big government during the primary and it is these RHINOS we need to avoid putting into any power position, especially RNC Chairman.
Chip is Hip
We need someone young who is passionate. Chip flew his little plane all over to meet with the state GOP leaders. He is tech-savy and was responsible for saving the 2000 election. Forget Florida. If Bush didn't win Gore's home state of Tenn. then Gore would have been president. No one expected Tenn. to go for Bush but it did thanks to Chip. He is an excellent speaker. I think people are going Steele crazy for name recognition, but if you want someone who is passionate, young and energetic elect Chip. The GOP needs to attract YOUNG voters, and they will lose every election in the future because the younger generation is growing.
Steele/Saltsman.............
The General Chairman usually provides overall direction and philosophical moorings, and acts as the public face of the party doing media and speeches, etc., and also is available probably for big-money phone calls and events — but the Chairman, with an Executive Director under him, is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the RNC
How about: General Chairman - Steele
Chairman - Saltsman
Steele
We do need to reform. The current administration got away from core republican issues. Steele is a gifted speaker and very intelligent. Being black doesn't hurt either. Even though our party has been wronly accused of being against equal rights our voting history proves the opposite. We believe in a hand up not a hand out. Personal freedom, strong defense, secure borders, fiscal responsibility, and small government are the core values we must support. Many dems believe in these things but see the republican party as the party of the old white guy. True republican values must be clearly layed out and we must seek candidates that will support these ideas. Steele is the man to lead the way.
Why I'm voting for Steele
Not only do I agree with a lot of what Steele has to say...he is working hard to make himself and his message visible. THIS is what the party needs!!! He's already putting himself and his message out there...imagine how hard he is going to work once he actually has the seat?
Visibility is vital in the coming elections.

Chip Saltsman
When are we going to start voting for candidates on the basis of demonstrated ability rather than how young they are, what they look like, and what they promise to do in the future?
Michael Steele is a great looking guy who happens to be Black, but what has he accomplished that people are so enthusiastic about him? By contrast, Chip Saltsman has demonstrated that he has the ability to coordinate people efficiently and manage money in a national election. I KNOW what he can do. I would vote for him.
Steele for RNC Chair
Michael Steele is a nice and caring individual (I met him personally so I can vouch for this). He is the future of this party and I back him 100%. Go Mike!
