Forget Mark Kirk.  Forget Pete Roskam.  Forget Mike Ditka.  Rick Santelli of CNBC is the best candidate we can possibly field for the Illinois Senate seat vacated by President Obama.

Here's Why.

Do you not think this party has been embarrased enough by people who just shoot off their mouth? Do you really think these people bring anyone to our side besides the nut jobs??? His facts were wrong, he was looking for his 15 minutes and I for one am sick and tired of people in this party only looking out for their own best interest. Heck just today we are having to deal with Rush the Magic Idiot comparing the Dems to men who behead their wives! Do you really think that this type of behaviour will bring Independents and Dems to our side of the table? We have ONLY 30% of the people in this country, as of last Friday, who identify theirselves as Republicans and guess what? NEWS FLASH 30% will win ZERO elections.

Stop the crazies or decide you like the GOP being out of power...but stop encouragi8ng it due to your anger at losing. Get over it and help come up with reliable candidates who have vision to lead this party.

To paraphrase the old line, a Santelli supporter is simply a home-owner-in-good-standing who hasn't yet had a "loser" neighbor default on his mortgage and leave behind a boarded up over-grown eyesore.
