Mr. President: Quick Question

UPDATE: Apparently, when I originally posted this yesterday in a hurry, I got the President's age when his father left the country confused with the President's age when his father abandoned the family. My mistake.
From President Obama's speech Yesterday:
I stand here today as someone whose own life was made possible by these documents [the Declaration of Independance and Constitution]. My father came to these shores in search of the promise that they offer.
Mr. President, is that why your father left this country when you were five years old never to return?!?

You, idiot, had you folllowed
You, idiot, had you folllowed through your link you wouldn't have based your juvenile question on your ignorance:
Barack Obama Sr. left USA (after graduating from Harvard) when his son was five years old (divorced his mother when he was 3 years old) and returned to Hawaii(a part of USA, for your info) to meet his son when he was ten years old, (and died in Africa when Obama was twenty years old.)
Fine, I got the year wrong
Ok, fine, Obama Sr. left when Jr. was 5, not 3. My mistake. Considering that he didn't live in the US at the time, I don't count the visit when Obama was 10.
That doesn't change the fact that any notion that BHO Sr. was deeply attracted to the priciples of this country is undermined by the man's own actions.
That said, I find your hissy fit on the topic quite revealing.
Obama Sr. was on a 'non-immigrant' student visa
I shouldn't expect you to get your facts right when you pose a juvenile question.
Ya, like being attracted to the promise of western education and exposure and going back to serve your motherland.
As an outstanding Kenyan student, Obama Sr. recieved a scholarship in economics through a program organized by a nationalist leader in his country. The program offered western educational oppurtunities -- that might serve Kenya well -- not US citizenship, you idiot.
Obama Sr.'s education was useful to Kenya as he became a senior economist in the Kenyan government. I am still waiting for your hissy fit on Barack Obama's mother who went to work with poor people in Indonesia rather than stay and pay taxes in the united states.
Mr. President here's a question: "Since your mother spent most of her productive years outside the united states (the land of great oppurtunities) does that mean that she hates America, just like your oppurtunist father who couldn't stay here as soon as he got his Harvard degree and a ticket to privilege in Africa?"
Setting aside your snotty condescention (sp?)
Had Obama Sr. really cared about the values et. al. of this country, he would have taken more than one vacation here between the time he abandoned his second (of four) family(ies) and his death in a "drunken car accident."
Nationalist -- cute euphamism; I believe Saddam was called a Nationalist as well.
(Note to self: Don't piss off those thug African dictators.)

The US promised a lot especially for people from other countries. However, even the most powerful country in the world is also suffering from the financial crisis and badly affected other countries. Until now, the government is still trying to resolve the crisis as soon as possible. However, things aren’t going to how it should be. A lot of the options for short term funding have been drying up. Short term funding is a necessary thing to have around, and going through traditional channels such as banks isn't an option for a lot of people anymore – basically it's only open to Ken Lewis. Installment loans are an option, but some people, including senior citizens, have been thinking about raiding their retirement fund. Getting into your pension retirement plan or 401(k) funds is the last thing you want to do if you don't qualify for any withdrawals yet. The penalties are substantial, and you'll end up needing installments loans to pay them if you use retirement funds for short term funding.
