What a THUG!!!

Obama: Congress, pass cap and trade or I'll pass a bogus regulation through the EPA.

Friday afternoon, no less.

I knew he was from Chicago, but even I'm surprised over this one.  This one wreaks of Rahmbo.  Talk about Audacity....

Audacity is your man Perry's treasonous threat to secede.

Audacity is your man Perry's treasonous threat to secede.

He didn't threaten to secede

Jackass. He said Texas has the right to secede. Quit listening to KO and try, just try , to listen and think for yourself. That way, you won't look like such a fool.

His own words

Rick Perry on Teabagging Day:

"Texas is a unique place. When we came into the union in 1845 one of the issues was that we would be able to leave if we decided to do that."

"We've got a great union. There's absolutely no reason to dissolve it. But if Washington continues to thumb their nose at the American people, you know, who knows what might come out of that."

Given a chance to clarify his nonsense on Thursday, he stood proudly by his statements.

The threat is so plain that today John Cornyn was moved to make a public statement refuting the legality of such a move.

From the Ft. Worth Start Telegram, Editorial, April 16:

To even discuss, as Perry did Wednesday at a Tax Day rally in Austin, that Texans just might consider seceding from the United States, is a shameful act by our governor.

And here is the best part: Can't have the federal government meddling in Texas. Except, of course, for when Rick Perry wants the federal government meddling in Texas:

Thank you for backing up my point

Now, when he threatens to secede, instead of saying Texas can secede, that will be a different duscussion. And as far as the list of things Perry is asking for from the federal government (the best part), thats the way the system works. Pay in, grt services out.

I agree with Cornyn

Even discussing the possibility of seceding is shameful and embarrassing to the state.

That's about as smart as discussing with your wife the possibility that you might have an affair with your secretary. You're not actually doing it or even saying you're going to do it, but it's totally irresponsible (and stupid) to even present it as a possibility to be considered.
