One subject that I find little to zero discussion about in the Blogniverse is 'What if we didn't go into Iraq? Can you put a name on the atmosphere that would now exist internationally and within America if Saddam was still in control of one of the worlds largest supply of Sweet Light Crude Oil? Raking in Billions of dollars and continuing to play games with the UN weapons inspectors like he had been?
How about the obvious point that he was waiting/hoping for another gutless Clinton/Carter Democrat to be elected as our leader so he would be able to fund Terror groups,Palestinian splodey-dopes and who knows who else in the years after Bush I snipped his balls?
Say what you will about the whys and the reasons Bush II went into Iraq but I will say this, Thank Goodness that we did, and I praise our great military and the families of the soldiers that have died for making this great, the greatest sacrifice for Western Civilization since the defeat of Xerxes and Attila the Hun.
We on the Right need to discuss this subject more and more rather than merely reacting to the Moonbats irrational venomous hatred for Bush( Gore Lost! Get over it Morons!) and rationally consider exactly what was at stake for non-action in Iraq.
I am not happy about our military suffering almost 4,200 dead soldiers so far while fighting two wars and on many more fronts than that but lets not forget that our Military lost 4,617 lives during the 8 years of Bill Clinton and how much further along towards actually killing the bad guys that needed to be killed did that get us?
