Michelle Obama

Obama Trainwreck: Racism Reigns Supreme.

Sooner or later, the wolf in the sheepskin reveals its true character or, in the case of the Obamas, their lack of. Yes, we are speaking plural here… Michelle Obama is, if anything, a more strident racist than Barack Hussein.

NAACP President Ben Jealous has accused the Tea Party Movement of racism.

Meanwhile, out here in the real world… the one whose real unemployment rate is pushing 18%, where four out of five Americans can’t find enough work to feed their families and whose extended unemployment benefits have been curtailed by partisan bickering in the Senate, with DeMarxists insisting that unemployment be paid for as part of additional spending… some twenty billion dollars worth (big surprise).

Republicans, for their part, are not unaware of the urgency of the situation, as hundreds of thousands of unemployed have had their only source of income cut since June 12. They want the money to be paid for utilizing spending cuts. They have offered four separate compromises which have been uniformly rejected by the DeMarxists. So, while the Congress dithers and the Obama administration considers more ways and means to gin up racial tension in the country to rejuvenate their severely flagging base, far from uniting the country the Obamas have, by their every word and deed, shown themselves to be the basest of racists.

The crying shame in all of this is that it is so unnecessary. The Democrats and their race-pandering, welfare-peddling policies have tried, and in far too many cases succeeded, in placing minorities, in particular blacks, into the ‘new plantation system’. It is a dark and evil place, where the images of racism have got to be perpetuated in order to foster the requisite mental attitudes of victimization, helplessness and slavish dependence on government.

More than one million two hundred thousand American men have fought and died for freedom, from the Civil War to the present, to preserve and protect the very freedoms the race-haters take so lightly. Since Obama took office, the racial divide in this country has become more and more pronounced. From the institutional racists such as Eric Holder, Representative Maxine Waters, D-Los Angeles, to professional race haters such as the increasingly irrelevant Jesse Jackson and the never-to-miss-an-opportunity Al (Tawana Brawley) Sharpton. They crawl out of the woodwork at a moment’s notice, to stir the ashes of race and set them alight once more. It’s all they have. They’re a one trick pony and many minorities have come to see how empty their words, and how false the images they portray, are.

Barack Hussein Obama is a badly flawed and failed President with an administration in shambles. DeMarxist politicians are bailing out as fast as possible, to distance themselves as far from Obama as they can while they can. Americans won’t be duped any longer. Oddly enough, it’s been the racists themselves who have expiated the so-called white guilt. We’ve come full circle on the entire race issue now. We don’t owe you a thing. Have a great life.

Glenn's Integrity in Question: Is Conservativism Just Another "Now" Controversy?

Nevermind Glenn's referring to Michelle Malkin as Michelle Obama ("Gosh, why am I even saying this?" @ 9:08).

Glenn's got a worser problem than Freudian slips of the tongue.

The video's here, via The Right Scoop.

Eric Massa will be gracing Glenn Beck with his Democratic presence tonight, and although Michelle warns Glenn profusely by telling him Massa's

a sick, desperate pol looking to save his hide and distract from his smelly ethics problems and personal problems. This is not a hero, not a bona fide champion of reform and integrity in government. He’s the jerk who gave the figurative middle finger to his own constituents as he proclaimed last year that he would ram single-payer down their throats no matter what they thought..

.. Glenn insists on playing the consumate libertarian, 3rd party (divide the vote) hero.

But then, I wonder.

He'll be giving considerable air time to another "ram the damn thing, Mr. President. Ram it!" entranced surrogate. How much time should you give your typical Ram-It guy?

And rather than restrict Messa to the standard 15-minute, "let's consider the opposition" segment, Mess will bless Glenn's entire show while Glenn gets high on "fascination" (@ around 10:00):

I think it's faaaaascinating.  No body's seen the show. You don't know what i'm going to do tonight. You don't know what he's going to do tonight. You have no idea. And the controversey is now. I think that's faaaascinating.

What does this say about Glenn's integrity?

For all I know, he may be exploiting the conservative movement because the "controversy is now."

Mr. and Mrs. Obama Racists

Mr. and Mrs. Obama Racists - White White White - Debra J.M. Smith - 03/24/09 www.InformingChristians.com

I guess once racism is in the blood, it is hard to purge it out, and Mr. And Mrs. Obama just keep letting it slip. You may recall when Mr. Obama spoke of "typical white" people while explaining his white grandmother's reaction to seeing some blacks on the street. Now we hear Mrs. Obama letting her uncontrolled racism slip out.She was addressing high school students, clearly wanting to sound concerned that they try to do their best. She spoke of always wanting to do her best. But she just had to slip race into the talk, saying that other girls claimed she talked "funny," like a "white" girl. Click Here

I guess the press doesn't care about campaigning with religious groups anymore

Yesterday at a campaign stop in Cinncinatti, Michelle Obama said:

"Barack can't win without you, and he can't lead without you," Michelle Obama said. "We have less than two months between now and election day. So every day every hour counts."

The crowd responded:

The crowd — those who were able — stood for several minutes before she spoke and chanted, "Yes we can."

Sounds pretty normal. The head of the group to which she was speaking got a little edgy:

"We do not call the senator and his wife Jesus, but in his candidacy, the hopes of generations are finding expression. And in that same candidacy, the fears of many are finding fresh life. But it is our prayer always, that hope overrides fear. When history is made you can say, "I was there.'"

Except one thing. The guy who said that was William J. Shaw, president of the National Baptist Convention, USA. This was the annual convention of the National Baptist Convention, one of the largest African American denomination in America.

Now if a Republican had said something like that at a Southern Baptist event, the reporters would be screaming from the rafters about the seperation of church and state and the politicization of religion.

But no one cares about Democrats intermingling religion and politics. Only Republicans. This only gets a completely positive story in a Dayton, OH newspaper.

Change You Can Earmark

This story is getting some attention on Digg. So digg it!

Obama funnels federal money to top campaign contributors

Although earmarking large sums of money to top supporters and fundraisers is a popular practice in both houses of Congress, not many people would expect such questionable activity from a shining star of liberalism and reform like Illinois Senator Barack Obama. Sadly, he is following a pattern of conspicuous allocations of federal funds. Just as he handed a million dollar earmark to his wife’s employers in 2006 (immediately after which her pay shot up from $121,910 a year to $316,962), Sen. Obama is now drastically increasing earmarks that go to his biggest supporters.

In 2006, Sen. Obama requested an earmark $300,000 to replace and update the projector system at the Adler Planetarium. In 2008, he requested $3,000,000 for replacement of the projector system and other equipment in the Sky Theater. For reference, this is three times the amount he earmarked for the HIV/AIDS Policy and Research Institute at Chicago State University.

While the Adler Planetarium earmarks look normal on the surface, there is a catch. The Chairman and two of the Vice Chairman of the Adler Planetarium Board of Trustees raised a total of almost $250,000 for Sen. Obama’s 2008 Presidential campaign. The Adler Planetarium was probably pleasantly surprised when they found that their earmark increased by $2.7 million dollars, in other words, by a factor of ten.

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Frank Clark, stands out amongst Obama supporters. On Sen. Obama’s website, Mr. Clark is listed as a bundler who raised in excess of $200,000 for the Senator’s Presidential campaign. In 2004, Mr. Clark donated $5,000 to the then State Senator Obama’s U.S. Senate bid. In 2005, Mr. Clark became the Chairman of the Board at Adler Planetarium, and in 2006 Sen. Obama earmarked $300,000 to the Planetarium. Then, in the same year that Mr. Clark’s involvement in the Obama campaign skyrocketed to raising an excess of $200,000, Sen. Obama’s earmark for the Adler Planetarium increased tenfold to $3,000,000.

Mr. Clark isn’t the only problematic donor. Two of the Vice Chairmen of the Board, Brian Cressey and Peter Thompson are also significant donors. Between donations from Mr. Thompson and the Cressey household, Sen. Obama received $13,800. The most significant donor here is Mr. Cressey. As a first time donor, Mr. Cressey gave the maximum possible individual donation in essentially one big check. What makes this even more troubling is that Mr. Cressey had never given to Sen. Obama before 2008, the year in which the Adler Planetarium’s earmark increased tenfold.

The fact that three ranking members of the Adler Planetarium’s Board donated huge sums of money (at least $200,000) is interesting by itself. The fact that these enormous contributions came in the same year that Sen. Obama increased their earmark by 900% is truly unsettling.

The Michelle Obama tape

Jim Geraghty has disovered something that casts (even more) doubt on the alleged "whitey" video and raises a serious question...

Sometimes, this rumor of this alleged tape of Michelle Obama denouncing “whitey” sounds like something out of a clichéd political thriller novel.  Actually, it sounds exactly like something out of a clichéd political thriller novel. Specifically, Stephen Frey’s The Power Broker, published in 2006 by Ballantine Books. [...]

Either author Stephen Frey is clairvoyant, writing this book in 2006. Or this is one of the all time amazing coincidences. Or whoever started this rumor got the idea from a novel.

What if this alleged "whitey" video is part of a misinformation effort?   Think about this:

  • In 2004, questions about President Bush's National Guard service threatened to create media and image problems for the Bush campaign.  However, when CBS and Dan Rather reported on National Guard documents that turned out to be forgeries, the fraud became the story, effectively ending the National Guard story and preemptively discrediting any other people who attempted to bring it up.

  • The radical intellectual culture and Church from which Obama came could raise significant and ongoing problems for him in the 2008 campaign.   What if somebody on the Left created this rumor - or even an actual, but fraudulent, video - in order to bring the story up, discredit it by revealing the fraud (but not the source), and preemptively delegitimize later attempts to raise such questions?

This is merely speculation, but it would certainly fit with the facts that we know and the way this story has been rolled out (to anonoymous sources, facilitated by movement progressives, but without any evidence of an original source).

Michelle Obama Fear vs. Hope

In a utopian world doors would remain unlocked, children would play unsupervised in the street, and police forces would be unnecessary. As all Americans (over the age of 3) have come to realize however, we do not live in a utopian world, nor even a utopian country. Newspapers in every county throughout our country are filled with horror stories of murder, sexual assault, burglary and kidnapping, yet Michelle Obama says we have nothing to fear.

Fear is the reason this country is where it is today. Fear is a useless emotion. Don’t ever make decisions based on fear. Make decisions based on hope and possibility. Make decisions based on what should happen, not what shouldn’t. Don’t ever make decisions based on fear.

If Michelle Obama was speaking to a room full of elementary school children, those words would have been appropriate, a room full of adults should know better. Those of us who live in reality realize that fear is the most useful of all emotions as it prevents us from making poor decisions.

Although I could “hope” that my boss would not fire me if I were to miss work the entire summer allowing me to goto the beach, my fear is that he would not and I would find myself unemployed. Likewise, I could “hope” that if I were to take my rent money to Atlantic City this weekend I could double it, but it is my fear of losing that money and being evicted which prevents me from doing so.

Hope and possibility are wonderful things to be sure, but hope is an unrealistic emotion unless it is coupled with fear. Hope makes you feel as if anything is possible, while fear keeps your expectations reasonable. It is fear that makes you wear your seatbelt while driving, although you hope you will never need it. It is fear that causes you to worry when you see your child talking to a stranger, even though you hope that stranger means no harm. And fear is the reason the United States has the most powerful military in the world, although the hope remains that we will never need it to protect American soil.

John Hawkins once said ““liberalism is nothing more than childlike emotionalism applied to adult issues” and I think this statement from Michelle Obama epitomizes that. We can only hope that if Barack Obama is elected President, he does not follow his wife’s advice of making “decisions based on what should happen, not what shouldn’t”.
