The Country Grieves…Pelosi-Obama Gloat.

While millions of Americans grieve over the MURDER of 13 US servicemen and women by a turncoat Muslim home-made Jihadist, and the PC spin doctors race to tell us not to sit in judgment, our country’s leadership, in the persons of Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama, are celebrating the passage of the most heinous piece of legislation ever to darken the halls of our Capitol by FIVE VOTES. Certainly NO MANDATE…and absolutely certain to doom the careers of many politicians who, despite the tens of thousands of emails, telephone calls, letters and personal visits from their constituents, felt insulated enough to vote for the health care bill in direct contravention of the wishes of the people.

I spoke about a quote attributed to Japanese Fleet Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto after the attack on Pearl Harbor which brought the US into World War Two in which he said, “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve”. That terrible resolve is the US TAXPAYER/CITIZEN/VOTER and this ‘Government’, if that’s what it can be called, is going to hear more and more from us, as are the ‘lawmakers’ of this country who feel that they can abrogate the oaths that they took to serve the public good and the Constitution of the United States of America. In truth, there is very little in this bill that would pass Constitutional muster. Obama, Pelosi and the Demarxists know this full well. Which is why they had to make sure NO ONE was able to scrutinize that 2000+ page monstrosity.

My own kid’s applications to Little League got more oversight than that. To say nothing of having to produce a VALID birth certificate. We are going to name and highlight every ‘Representative’ who voted in favor of this bill as we will highlight every Senator who votes for it. We will ‘name them and shame them’, to borrow a phrase from syndicated radio talk show host Michael Savage.

They had better not get too comfortable in the beltway because next year is almost here and there will be the ultimate political price to pay…we are going to vote them out of office. Even some of the Representatives who feel that they are in heretofore unassailable districts will be shaken out of their comfy little sinecures. The clock is ticking…

Michael Savage needs to take a chill pill on Palin

Michael Savage needs to take a chill pill.

I’m breaking up with Michael Savage and it’s over a woman.

I believe it’s necessary for me to write about this to show others how passionate and confident I am about Sarah Palin.

I will tell you more about how I really feel about Sarah Palin in my next show Mr.L’s Tavern 20, that will air this September the 10th, 9:30pm Est on CHIMPSY RADIO and re-airing specially for 9/11/2008. All the hosts on Chimpsy Radio will broadcast new shows in observance of 9/11.

I’ve been listening to Michael Savage for years now. I don’t agree with him on everything but I do on most things.  I’ve defended him when he was fighting CAIR and even defended him when he was lynched for his autism comments.

Savage published a new book on Monday of last week and I ordered two of them immediately. By the following Monday, I demanded a refund and a stop order.

Why did I do this? Why do I feel this way?

I thought his commentary on Sarah Palin went over the line. It was something that I would expect at Daily Kos and not his show or website. The rumors that have surrounded Palin have been just that and probably created by organizations like MoveOn.org and Media Matters who have single-handedly tried to ruin Savage’s career.

So far he’s devoted two shows with harsh criticism of this fine and accomplished woman based on a hypothetical.  That’s right, Michael Savage has sided with the “mid-stream media” (as he has dubbed them) by using hyperbole to push the notion that McCain will drop dead in his first days in office.  Pretty ridiculous. Pretty cheap.

And if that happened, Palin could turn around and pick an elder statesmen for her Vice President.  After all, isn’t that what Barack Obama has done already?

Also, we are voting for the top of the ticket are we not?

Savage’s comments about Palin were also extremely insulting. Every time that he’s referred to her it’s been as “this woman” or that her only experience was “pushing a sled”. When in fact, she’s not just “this woman” she’s a governor.

I would also like to point out that, as far as this election goes, Savage has been wrong most of the time. He said Barack Obama would never get this far. He predicted that Obama would pick Hillary as his running mate to create a juggernaut ticket. Didn’t happen. Finally, last summer he declared McCain was washed up and finished. Nope.

What was funniest to me was when he began to run down the list of others McCain should’ve picked. Kay Bailey Hutchinson was one. Four months ago, I heard him devote 40 mins to trashing Hutchinson and called her a Rhino over some bill that she helped pass. Next, was his so called favorite Mitt Romney. Funny, I didn’t hear him say a peep about Mitt Romney when John McCain was still deciding.

Palin is a true conservative. For two years now, Savage has been blowing out his vocal chords about getting a true conservative to run with McCain. So now you’ve got one. So shut your mouth.

Also, Palin IS energy. As Savage once said, “the GOP/conservative party is like a dying cancer patient.” If that’s true, Sarah Palin is the chemo it desperately needed.

Savage has stated that we need “strong experienced leaders” for these troubled times to stand up to strong men like Putin who hunt Tiger and Bear in the wild. I will say it again, at the TOP of the GOP ticket stands a strong and more experienced McCain than the top of the left ticket with Obama.

I think Palin would somehow impress Putin. I think he would see her as a strong woman who’s not afraid to take off the pant suit and strap on the gun and, possibly, go hunt with him.

I’ll probably still listen Savage. I will defend continue his right to speak his peace. But enough is enough.

Republican vs. Conservative-Another Savage Gem

Most of you know by now, I listen to Savage on the drive home. While the man is most definitely passionate in his beliefs, there is also a significant amount of truth in what he says.

I have been a Republican all my life. I would never consider being a democrat because a democrat is diametrically opposed to my core beliefs. I'm finding the Republican party is becoming as diametrically opposed as well. Savage promotes a foundation of border, culture and language--and I happen to agree. I also like his term--Independent Nationalist. I had thought about Independent Conservative (ICon) to describe myself, but IndNat'l seems to fit me better.

Remember--the biggest danger to the enemy within is a person who can think for themself.

Therefore, keeping the above in mind, I bring you Savage's Republican vs. Conservative:

Republicans vs. Conservatives

The voices of those who call themselves conservative are propagandizing the airwaves. You can hear the Golfer defending high gas prices as a necessary part of the free market, that there shouldn't be an FDA to protect us from salmonella, that illegal aliens are just doing the jobs Americans won't do, and attacking the minimum wage as being anti-job. This is garbage. These people are globalist liberals masquerading as free marketers. They have taken the Golfer's Kool-Aid. And more importantly, while they may be Republicans, they are most definitely not conservatives. I've said time and time again on this program that I'm a conservative, not a Republican. There's a huge difference between the two.

  • Republicans are for AIDS money to Africa. Conservatives are for aid to working American citizens.
  • Republicans are for letting the free market decide that $5 a gallon gas is OK. Conservatives are for compelling foreign oil producers to increase production and reduce prices, by force if necessary.
  • Republicans are for bailing out billionaire money manipulators on Wall Street while you wait in line at the hospital behind an illegal alien. Conservatives are for letting Wall Street hucksters pay for their own mistakes and sending the illegal back to Mexico.
  • Republicans are for letting market forces decide if your food has fecal matter in it. Conservatives are for enforcing basic food safety standards so that Mexican farm workers can't crap in the fields and make you sick.
  • Republicans think bringing in illegal aliens is an amnesty. Conservatives think brining in illegal aliens is a travesty.
  • Republicans want a strong global economy. Conservatives want a country. Republicans think that child porn on the internet is freedom from government. Conservatives know that smut is a poison that must be snuffed out.

America thought Bush was a conservative. He turned out to be just a Republican. And while there are Republicans who are conservatives, too, don't let the "R" after the name fool you. Let the voter – and the listener – beware.

Well worth thinking about, ladies and gentlemen. Are you a party lemming/sheeple or are you an indpendent thinker, capable of observing, researching and making your own decisions and acting upon those decisions?
