We need to get the word out

I often blog on liberal blogs because I believe it is almost as important to articulate fiscal conservative principles to them than to discuss it here amongst ourselves. After all, we know  we are on right path and why, left bloggers are almost totally ignorant of our point of view. All they know is what has regurgitated up to them by their extremist activists.

So my question is, what is the best way to bring some of your posts over to the left blogger-sphere? I know I need permission, but I was just wondering if we can't have some sort of icon posted next to a post whose author doesn't mind anyone re-posting their work on another blog as long as proper credit is given.  

Any suggestions?

This is a waste of time.  Those people are kooks and not worth engaging.  Your time will be far better served coming up with innovative ways to speak to mush-brained moderates.

I disagree.  Depending on the site and the regulars, he may not be speaking to flaming liberals -- I think most on the right now define everyone left of Limbaugh as liberal.  He may in fact be speaking to some number of "mush-brained moderates" or there could be moderate lurkers, much as I am here.  As an ex-Rep, still fiscally conservative but too socially moderate to pass the litmus tests on most social issues, I learn a lot from almost all the posters here, from the full specturm including the self-identified liberals.

Not everyone is cut out for or lives in an area amenable to in-person canvassing.  If he swings even one or two people, I don't think the GOP is any position to say that's not helpful.  You never know; six months from now someone may be reminded about something he posted about the stimulus and think, "hey, he knew what was talking about -- maybe I should listen to Reps with a more open mind."  At the very least, it gives him practice articulating messages should he ever choose to canvass.

Hey, we're in the minority, I'll take it.  That said, I still think coming up with innovative ways to crack pop culture is a far more productive use of time.

...but I usually get a good proportion of posts responding to mine, asking me to explain further and the like. It is true, there are those who respond with simple demagoguery, and worse. But other bloggers, especially on Obama's Porkus Maximus Stimulu proposal, really do want to here our point of view. They are deeply worried about its impact on their future. I have told them over and over again, it is they who will have to shoulder the burden of paying for Obama's pork. They actually do want to do what is right for them and for the country, so, yes; it is stimulating and as it turns out, good therapy. But you do sometimes have to have a pretty think skin.

One time even to site-mod broke in and posted: "Come on guys. He is being civil. You be civil as well."

That is also a very good, informative and educational post. I am sure it will get a lot of hoots and hollers from some, but many others who simply read these posts will appreciate it and just perhaps starting thinking about the real ramification of the Omama porkus maximus stimulus legis.

as long as you give credit by linking to it.  If it's on the internet, you can reference it like a book or article.  Blog posting is public if the public can get to it.

Good for you for communicating conservative arguments to many who don't usually hear them.
