Little Green Footballs Attacks Autistic Blogger

Note: This article is not satire or humor. 

Charles Johnson, writer for the formerly great Little Green Footballs, has gone on the record repeatedly stating that if a blog allows an offensive comment, it is as if the writer for the blog had written it themselves. 

Well, in a hitpiece against us, Johnson allowed the following comment up on his site:

That picture happens to be of Joseph Chicoine, an autistic 20-year old college student who is a friend of my brother and I. We put a picture of him on the top of our blog, something that made him ecstatic. We made a difference in his life. We put him next to his hero John McCain so that everyone can see him in that light.

And along comes Cato the Elder, who could do nothing better than to insult an innocent autistic gentleman.What has Charles Johnson done about this? Not only did he start the feeding frenzy, but he's read our blog and knows that it's an autistic student, but he refuses to take the comment down. If HotAir or Rush Limbaugh did this, he would insult them until his fingers bled. Instead, he promotes this sort of personal attack, being a blight on the blogosphere.

Charles, get over yourself and put a retraction.

You post a fraudulent account of President Obama's college thesis on your blog and get called out by everyone about what a total jerk you are for doing so.

There is no way anyone could know that picture was not of you, but of another anonymous autistic person you've placed on the site. And considering your history of fraud now, there's no reason to believe that your current story is true.

And even if it were, why would you associate your autistic friend with a hoax blog and then hide behind his autism when you are criticized for what you did? Do you not have any dignity whatsoever?

You're totally right, those 60 comments defending the story totally shows that they're getting called out by everyone.

And not knowing that a person on a blog is autistic gives someone the right to attack them?  I'd call your logic moronic, but it would be an insult to morons.

You knowingly posted a fraudulent account about Obama's thesis, which was then picked up by non-critical conservatives and carried as fact.

You are a fool. In your haste to make a joke at Obama's expense, you have instead damaged the reputations of people you undoubtedly support (like Rush).

Some anonymous guy on LGF saw the picture and assumed it was you. Most bloggers put their own picture on their blog. There was no reason to assume it was someone else, so it was fair game for criticism since you were the one with the fraudulent post.

Now you come here and cry, using someone else's handicap as a distraction for the blunder that you caused on the conservative side of the political spectrum.

You are a pathetic individual.

Rush Limbaugh, Michael Ledeen, and a host of wingnut blogs were radically punk’d today by a hoax report that originated at ‘jumpinginpools’ (a blog run by a fool who was recently banned from LGF for relentlessly pimping his blog, and registering sock puppet after sock puppet to upding his own posts), claiming to have “10 pages from Obama’s college thesis” that proved Obama was a commie, plotting to trash the Constitution.

PS. I hope he doesn't attack The Next Right next.
