CT voters foreclosing on Chris Dodd? He's losing in a re-elect poll !

This morning's Quinnipiac poll didn't surprise me, but it's going to shock the DC political establishment
In an early look at the 2010 U.S. Senate race in Connecticut, Democratic incumbent Christopher Dodd gets just 42 percent to 43 percent for former U.S. Rep. Rob Simmons, a possible Republican challenger, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.
Sen. Dodd leads State Sen. Sam Caligiuri 47 - 34 percent and tops CNBC-TV host Larry Kudlow 46 - 34 percent, the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University poll finds
Well, Chris, there's always that nice cottage that felon got for you in Ireland to look forward too.

that looks real bad for Sen. Dodd.
Had a soft spot in me heart for him, ever since he ran on marijuana legalization. I wish him luck, I'm sure you don't ;-)
You know, I used not to be so down on Dodd
There are many good things he has done in the Senate regarding health care issues, especially on research into children's diseases. I know this may get the Ayn Rand fan club up in arms, but I also think the FMLA was a good idea.
That said, he stopped being useful to anyone---Left or Right--- when he wasted 2007 on a delusional vanity run for President. If he's too bored with the job of being a Senator, step aside and let someone more motivated take over.
The only thing I liked about Dodd
Was his attempt to eliminate the Patriot Act, warrantless wiretaps, and things of that nature.
Funny, I suppose that's when obstructionism was in vogue
Yes, not so long ago wanting a President to fail wasn't controversial; it was de rigeur in some circles. The same circles frothing over --my god---a radio host being a hard line partisan. What is the world coming to
Notice BTW, Obama sold out Dodd on the wiretap filibuster. By that point, Obama figured he might actually be President and might want to ...hhhhmmm...use them himselfto .....hmmm...avoid being blamed for a terrorist attack .
And why did Dodd care about wiretaps...because the telecoms hardly contributed a dime to his campaigns he must've thought they should be sued into oblivion; unlike the Wall Street raiders whom he wrote a lawsuit immunity act for. They paid for the protection.
