Is the October surprise already on Obama's site?
Obama wants to use kids under 12 years of age to get votes. He wants them to become supporters, and then convince their parents and other adults to vote for him.
This plan is so creepy that some might be skeptical that it even exists. Yet, here it is right on his website:

( Commentary here and here; for comparison purposes, see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pioneer_movement )
To make use of this, we need three things:
1. We need **documented** cases of teachers and others indoctrinating kids in the Obama way; see for instance the case of the Wisconsin textbooks that included a passage from Obama.
2. We need it to be written up at a major site by an education expert, hopefully one who's centrist. If we could find a former Obama supporter who decided this was the last straw, that would be perfect.
3. We need someone else who can take ownership of this.
Who can push this forward?

JFK 1960
I was nine years old when JFK ran for president in 1960 - my parents were actively involved in his campaign. I remember the excitement of the period and helped as much as I could. They actively encouraged me in my endeavors and talked through the importance of being involved in our democratic process. Getting children involved in the process by which we choose our leaders is the best possible civics lesson available. How can anyone be opposed to hands-on learning in this way? Getting an educational expert to dispute this fact will be impossible since there is a huge body of research which supports particapatory learning as an effective and efficient way to teach a concept.
Dude
I used to work across from Sc|ent0l0gy HQ in Hollywood, and each morning I'd see little kids dressed in their uniforms going there. This is more like that, and everyone's going to know it. Nice try though.

Teacher suspended for Obama Youth Brigade. It's a bit dated, but it that what is required?

HA HA...straw meet grasper
I volunteer for the Obama campaign and I volunteered for the Kerry and Gore campaigns. My kids asked if they could help so sometimes I brought them along. It's great for kids to be involved in a hands on way and see what goes on behind the scenes and the amount of work people are willing do, and what is necessary to make a campaign run.
Try this angle, though; just for kicks I'd like to see how badly this one backfires.
Here is a documented case of teachers indoctrinating kids
A local school district official confirmed after the event that of the 6,000 people estimated by the fire marshal to be in attendance this morning, more than 4,000 were bused in from schools in the area. The entire 2,500-student Defiance School District was in attendance, the official said, in addition to at least three other schools from neighboring districts, one of which sent 14 buses.

Try ro keep up
Your fellow trolls are all insisting that involving kids in politics at an early age is a civic virtue.
It is an outrageous imposition on those kids
It is something straight out of Sc|ent0l0gy HQ.
They should follow Sarah Palin's example and have those kids in school.
