After The tea Parties

AFTER TEA PARTIES

As I see this, we need to send a short specific message out, ie; Both Parties are on the wrong Track!, Against Big Government, Pork, Earmarks and errosion of our rights.

Then we need someone to rise up out of the people to lead this movement.

I would also suggest the we start passing the message now for everyone to"rally", at their respective state capitals on the Fourth of July. And start organizing for a "Rally", on Washington. D.C.

"Rally" is alot more positive than protest, etc.

Just some thoughts I am throwing out to see what bounces back.

I perhaps have just one comment. The goal here is to get our supporters out in the streets to show growth. I live in a very small town and work every day. Getting up and going to the capital is simply not doable for me. I suspect that it's not doable for a lot of people. I suggest we plan to have demonstrations at our local city hall all across America on the 4th of July.

Also, we should strongly encourage every body to sign up to at local Tea Party website, and see to it that at least 20 of their family members and friends do the same.

I would rather see 10,000 Tea Party demonstration's rather than 51.

Btw, why do you, in an 'independent' USA, want to term your social gatherings as "Tea parties" (which are common in English societies)? Why not have some "Coffee Gathering", "Barbeque Party", "Hot Dog & Pizza Party",  "Pork' Chop & Beer Party" or something?  At least they sound American if not "Real" American.

...I am going to ignore "Remains" posts because they are just too stupid to respond to...that we give a free T-shirt with the title of "Lieutenant" "Captain" and "General", plus any other Tea Party designations to anybody who signs up 10, 15, and over 20 people to a local Tea Party Website.

 While I applaud active political involvement, I hope that we don't lose sight of why we really commemorate the Fourth of July.  We come together to celebrate our founding as a nation and show gratitude for those who have served and died defending it.  I understand that those who plan to protest on the 4th will say that they are doing it because the nation has strayed away from those founding principles, and I respect that viewpoint.  However, consider what the reaction from many of you would have been if (and when, if anyone has experience with this) protestors on the left used the 4th as an occasion to organize mass rallies to protest the war in Iraq as violating the spirit of Washington's warning against entangling alliances.  My guess is that most people on this blog would probably have said that Independence Day was not an appropriate time for that type of protest.  In the same spirit, may I humbly suggest that we honor our proud heritage and thank those who have served and do serve on the Fourth, and that we spend each and every day striving to make this country better.
