Two Open Questions to Mitch McConnell in Regards to His Desire to Destroy His Own Party

Mitch McConnell is destroying the Republican Party. No, not figuratively….literally. In the current economic “stimulus” bill, there is a loophole which would provide billions of dollars for organizations like ACORN.

Let’s get this straight. McConnell is not actively drumming up votes for a filibuster. He is not speaking publicly about the dangers of this stimulus. He is doing literally nothing. While there are many aspects of this bill which are a disgrace, the notion that the Republicans would support taxpayer funds to an organization that is dedicated to defeating Republicans, then what is the point of even having a Republican Party?

Let’s repeat this so everyone understands the main issue: McConnell is dong NOTHING to stop a bill that funds his party’s political opposition.

I ask the Senator the following two questions publicly:

1.) Why should we vote republican or donate money to republicans if the republicans wish to support a literally army of foot soldiers whose sole purpose is to destroy his party?

2.) Sen. McConnell, why do you hold a leadership position when you do not have any desire to lead?

Mitch McConnell’s actions or, more accurately, his non-actions are a complete disgrace.

More voters harm how?

It seems that voters is exactly what the GOP currently lack. They came up about 8 million short last time. How exactly does giving federal funds to groups that register new voters "destroy his party?"

And even if you argue that ACORN has a ideological bias, you admit that the money provided by the loophole is available to "groups like ACORN." Where are the GOP friendly groups that are like ACORN? Are you disturbed that there are none? You should be.

By the way ACORN does not favor Democrats. It's mission is to sign up voters in economically depressed urban areas. If these voters go 90% Democrat that is not really ACORN's concern. But it should concern the hell out of Republicans. At this point you guys need to come up with ways to attract voters of every stripe. The divide and conquer strategy of the Palinistas is unfortunately only half effective.

Reagan was president when I turned 18, and I hated the bastard.  Still do.  Vehemently.  Republicans invoke the name of Reagan in order to discredit themselves and make them appear as if they have ulterior motives.  They would be better off to invoke the names of Goldwater or Eisenhower instead of some morally degenerate screwball radical.

No, I think my own politics were more influenced by the culture I grew up in, the desert southwest. discount tiffany jewelry
