Halperin, JMart Say Jindal to Keynote
Submitted by Patrick Ruffini on Tue, 08/05/2008 - 20:43
We floated the idea last May, and followed up last week. But today Mark Halperin and Jonathan Martin are both floating that Bobby Jindal is the keynote pick. (Via Hot Air.)
I wish we could claim credit, but truthfully, I think this was a slam dunk all along. Kudos to the McCain campaign if this pans out.

Is the GOP getting a clue?
I saw same HotAir item posted on http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2057157/posts
Is the GOP getting a clue? Asks Allahpundit... Maybe so!
FR comments are approving:
"The keynote speaker usually is a hopefully charismatic future party leader. An excellent spot for Jindal."
"Jindhal 2012"
This will be a home run, so long as Jindhal delivers.
2012 is a bit too early for Bobby
I know all Conservatives are hungry for a new Reagan. Heck ... I am too. But remember, we're attacking the Dems for running an inexperienced Chicago hack. We can't do the same.
Let Jindal learn to administer a government as La.'s Governor, then in 2012 or 2014 find a good Cabinet position so he can learn that city's quagmires, then put him up for Veep or the big chair.
