McCain Should Show This Side More

Bob Dole made this mistake in his campaign where he came off as an angry old man instead of using his excellent sense of humor.  After the election, when Dole let his guard down, we saw the real Dole and the American people really embraced him. 

McCain, like Dole, has a great sense of humor, and he should have shown it more during this campaign.  McCain has all too often come across as the prickly old man that yells at the kids who accidently threw a frisbee in his yard.

A witty and funny McCain would contrast well with Obama, who seems to have absolutely no sense of humor and takes himself way too seriously.

Obama was really funny too, you should have posted his clip as well! Stepping away from the uber-partisanship for a 2 minute clip won't ruin the election....relax a little!

You are right that McCain is very funny, but he hasn't been himself. He has let his campaign change his image and I think that has contributed a lot to the negative aspect of his campaign. Obama is actually very funny, yes he is serious, but come on, if you were black and named Barack Hussein Obama you too might be a little extra cautious with how you present yourself ;-)

Late Night Show

I agree.  His appearance at the late night show was great in combating this image.
