Obama Brazenly Photoshops the Presidential Seal

Last week, I first noted the Obama campaign's tendency to brazenly misappropriate symbols of the federal government and the Presidency for its campaign purposes. Now, Barack Obama has gotten in a bit of trouble for this:

The Obama campaign sure could have saved themselves a bad news cycle by reading this blog a week earlier.

The McCain Report wonders if this is legal.

And yes, that is an attempt at translating "Yes, we can" into Latin.

What a douche.

Douche is much too kind

If Obama will do this while campaigning imagine what he'll do if he gets elected?  Is nothing sacred to Obama?  Obviously not from some of the stunts he's pulled so far

OBAMA=ARROGANT and PRESUMPTUOUS (skip the gutter talk)

Ah, a substantive critique is topped off with name-calling and the Obamessiah followers shout 'blasphmer!'  Obamanaics has already made a number of Obama criticisms 'off limits' even though they have done worse to Bush (aka Bushitler, smirking chimp, etc.)

I think calling him ARROGANT and PRESUMPTUOUS nails it as well as calling him names. Let's not stoop to the dKos gutter language or bring in women's sanitary item nicknames.

Anyway, "Vero Possumus" sounds like VELCRO POSSUM!  We need to expose and call this the VELCRO POSSUM SEAL OF OBAMA! let it stick ti him, and mock him for his ARROGANCE!

http://no-bama.blogspot.com/2008/06/obama-expropriates-presidents-seal.html

"Ah, the ARROGANCE ! He's already president, see! He's decided to skip the job interview and figures to even question him is to be a racist hack. "Vero Possumus"? They put "Yes, we can" into latin - actually it sounds like "Velcro Possum" and yes we've had our Teflon President, BUT THIS MAN IS A VELCRO POSSUM!

The Hype and Chains candidate will be the Velcro Possum from here on out, the arrogant elitist flip-flopping leftwing inexperienced junior Senator with bad judgement and a dishonest campaign."

Who's the douche

Do people seriously care about this?  This is satire right?  If not, talk about political correctness run amuck.

Sorry for trolling, but c'mon, seriously?

This logo looks like something out of a cheesy SNL skit

or perhaps some Latin  American Republic ruled by a "cult of personality" major domo like Hugo Chavez

Enjoy it while you can ObamO CallapsO

That's the closest you will ever get to standing behind the real thing .

Good Opening For McCain

I think McCain should find fun ways to mock the Obamessiah ridiculousness, and this presents an excellent opportunity.

McCain should make Obama's campaign seem like a silly cult.  The American people, whatever their ideological leanings, will be turned off it seems like Obama actually believes he's something so monumental.

Awww, He Even Got the Little Bundle of Fasces

Obama taking us back to the 1970s?  Try Italy in 1930s.

DailyKook Moonbat makes a Moonbat out of himself.

You got to see this, one of the wimps over at the DailyKook posted a diary 'Conservative Blogger calls Obama a D***** !'

He was whining about this post and of course, him being a Moonbat, decided that the word 'Douche' was So horrid and shocking that he should present it as 'D followed by asterisks *****' and that somehow that  would send a wave of screaming marxist harpies over to deluge this site with their displeasure. But, him being a Moonbat,he didn't think anything of the fact that people probably wouldn't have Any idea what the word 'D*****' was so the rest of the effeminate Liberals spend most of the time at the posting to ridicule the D***!

Seriously volks,I'm not worried about the election. 'Those people' are D********!

That image. . .

. . .ought to be utilized by the McCain campaign from this point on.  It captures everything that's wrong with the idea of Obama as the leader of the free world.  The man looks like Emmanuel Lewis running for class president.

McCain is wondering if Obama

McCain is wondering if Obama is breaking federal election laws. That's funny. I wonder if he even sees the irony of it.

Please

If this is an "issue," we have run out of real ones.

Someone is having an attack of the "vapors," and it isn't Obama.

Dang

I smell Obamabots.. must be a slow day on the KOS

In itself... it's merely embarrassingly off-key...

But I don't think it's unrealistic to note it down.  It's so unexpectedly lame coming from a campaign that once upon a time seemed so sure-footed.

There've been plenty of bad moments for Obama:  I don't think he's had a good week on his own since March at most recent.  Even his coronation week was mussed up by Hillary and by his own typically hubristic rhetoric on forcing the tides to recede, and his "bounce" didn't bounce much.  But this week, with a quick succession of shameless bald-faced opportunistic flip-flops on NAFTA, FISA, and campaign finance (to name the first 3 that come to mind), the contrived Michelle makeover, the dramatic fundraising drop-off, the continued unpredictability and unclarity of his foreign policy positions, the confused position on habeas corpus for terrorist suspects... (Ok, ok, there's more, but I'll stop there.)  And then he tops it all off with this ridiculously lame and pretentious piece of Barackobombasticism.  For a campaign that was "building a religion" so effectively, whose logo and message management seemed so ineluctably unappealing, this misstep, minor in itself, seems particularly telling.

For a candidate in the lead, he sure seems to be floundering.  A main challenge for the McCain campaign must be keeping up with his unforced errors and deciding which one or ones to focus on.  In the meantime, does anyone know any longer what Obama stands for, other than himself?

For a candidate in the lead,

For a candidate in the lead, he sure seems to be floundering.

About that lead - does anyone aside from me think it's a wee bit strange that Newsweek has him up by 15 points, yet everyone else has him ahead of McCain only 2-6 points according to Real Clear Politics?  Note:  Newsweek is owned by the Washington Post...

1General Election Poll 6_20_08

POLLAGANDA IS WHAT IT IS

It is never strange, it is as predictable as ... well, most forms of media bias.

It's as predictable as the new york times just bowing down and complying with the Obama 'script' to humanize and get Michelle back out of the "America is so mean" doghouse last week.

CBS had a poll that seriously oversampled Democrats and it made Republicans look bad a few months back. then the other polls didnt show the same thing... huh.

Gallup and Rasmussen are worth following - the rest are pollaganda cr*p and designed for bird-cage-lining or propaganda purposes or both.

Mccain is behind. The race is early. Polls are not the problem. The real concerns should be the candidate and message. McCain needs to:

1. STOP beating up on Bush. that is the most idiotic and stupid campaign strategy EVER! 2/3rds of McCain voters SUPPORT BUSH RIGHT NOW AND ALWAYS HAVE. He P888es away his base enthusiasm every time he criticizes Bush. He needs to shore up his conservative base. At a minimum this means an acceptable conservative VP like Sanford of SC, Mike Pence, or Marsha Blackburn or maybe even Palin.

2. START calling Obama a Liberal, a leftist, and the "most liberal Senator in the U.S. Senate". Obama's #1 weakness is his lifetime associations with leftists, radicals, and extremists and how it reflects on obama's own extreme positions, on abortion, guns, taxes, and race: http://no-bama.blogspot.com/2008/05/obamas-communist-and-socialist-roots...

3. KEEP up the differences - drilling offshore, milk it for all its worth. Then hammer on TAXES, Obama is for higher taxes. Then Hammer on IRAQ and WAR ON TERROR. Call Obama "weak, bad judgement and wrong" on these issues and have the facts and figures to make the case clear and strong.

4. Experience issue will work. Use it! Every gaffe he makes, Every moves he makes, criticize it in a way that underlies Obama is "not ready to be President" "he lacks honesty, judgement and experience needed for the job".

If McCain does all 4 he wins. Easily. If he doesn't, he probably loses. MSM is in the tank for Obama and proxies (like right blogospher) can help on #2 and #4 but will only get so much play 'in the middle'. Only McCain can command the media attention.

a Really funny thing about ObamO's Logo

The first time I saw it, because of the low quality of the image, I really , honestly thought it said

'Zero possibilities'
