PLEASE Let it Be Joe Biden or Tim Kaine

Could Obama's VP pick seriously be this lame?

I'm just passing on the latest I'm hearing--that Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.) is moving up on the list of potential running mates for presumptive Democratic nominee Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.). While Obama's heart may go towards Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine--his head takes him to a more experienced pick, a Sen. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.) or Biden, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Biden (D-His Mouth):

Kaine is not much better.

Prominent netroots Virginia blogger Not Larry Sabato twittered a couple of weeks ago:

If Tim Kaine is the best the Democratic Party has to offer as Vice President of the USA- I am not a Democrat anymore.

And of course:

Either would be entering Dan Quayle territory. And Quayle didn't have Stewart and Colbert to contend with.

what about Dodd?

he could get experience at both coddling foreign dictators AND bailing out reckless financiers who funded his political campaigns!

Biden only offers the first half of this deal. But he is familiar with the national origin of convenience store clerks

Just about an VP(D) pick will have more experience then Obama

Just about an VP(D) pick will have more experience then Obama.  It's an easy compare and contrast from there.

What are they electing a co-presidency?

In order to show some weight behind their ticket they will have to compare their President and VP pick vs McCain.

Only 1 man (person) can be President.  Is Obama going to go running to his VP every time he gets stuck, or needs a suggestion on how to handle something.  Isn't this the picture they try and paint of the Bush/Cheney relationship?
