Values

Conservative:  People who save money should have more money than people who don't save money, as a whole.  Make due now, benefit later.

Liberal:  People who don't save money are at a disadvantage.  Their father might have yelled at them when they were six years old; or their favorite auntie might not have visited one Christmas; they might have peed the bed.  We need to organize a support group for people who can't save money.  We need to give them some of this other money that people have unfairly saved.....

That's true economics, folks.
