What is Civility?
Some on this blog would say it has to do with word choice, or perhaps effective argumentation. I do not believe either to be the case.
I believe that civility is the ability to acknowledge when you are wrong, and to apologize when you have been intemperate to the detriment of others.
That is all. Discuss.

You are wrong

Civility is about adhering to a standard of behavior - and on a blog that includes avoiding impoper words or rhetoric that is abusive, hateful or incites rather than informs.
As I noted, liberal blogs are known for having more obscenities on them than conservative blogs. Liberal civility is apparently an oxymoron, as liberals dont 'get it'.
We will see if you are civil enough to acknowledge your error . ;-)
I have a standard of behavior on blogs
it may not be YOUR standard of behavior, but hell, you ain't running this one! I'll do you the courtesy of not visiting any blog that you're running. sound fair?
