A few days ago, Craig Kirchoff put out a call to action for quality creative content for the GOP-- and here's the response: KeepThatFaith.com. -Patrick

An emerging rule of thumb infers that if you get a group of 100 people online then 1 will create content, 10 will comment/engage it and the other 89 will just view it.

I'm happy to introduce to you KeepThatFaith.com your home for creative content to promote our movement.  "Keep that faith" represents the first three words spoken by John McCain in the amazing webad "man in the arena."

KTF wants you to own the one percent.

For a long time now, I have noticed (like you) that our conservative movement lacks quality graphics.  One recent study shows that 92% of those between the ages of 18-29 use the internet compared to only 37% of those 65+ (you know this.)  But, this means that young hearts and minds are being persuaded online, right now, and we are not bringing our game.

You won't find any lofty philosophical debates here or arguments about policy.  Heck, I won't even ask you for money (maybe later for competitions among designers.)  I am simply asking for a little bit of your creative talent.

KeepThatFaith is a global home of conservative graphics and videos for all of us to use in our online advocacy.  If good content goes into KTF, good content will be released into the world.

Right now our goal is simple - solid content for you to use at no cost.

Here is the idea:

  • You (or someone you know) can create graphics to promote John McCain and other (past/living) Republicans.
  • Start designing graphics and send them to graphics@keepthatfaith.com or upload them to our facebook page. (the goal is quality, not quantity)
  • Send your name, location, URL, and inspiration for the design along with your graphic so that you can get some credit (or you can be a lone renegade if you want).
  • Do you have a need for a particular graphic to help you in your battle?  Submit a request and ask for help.
  • This site is not a place to visit and admire the art.  It's a place to rob and steal.  On your way out, take some content with you  to show the world.  Use it in emails, blogs, social networks, t-shirts, stickers, bibs, or whatever you can think of.

I'm sure a lot of you already have some content just hiding in your computer.  Set it free by emailing it to graphics@keepthatfaith.com and we can collectively help advance our movement.

KTN will not succeed if I am alone at this.  Use KTF as your way to show off, show your skills and get some recognition while advancing the cause (and building your portfolio.)   If you follow us on twitter you can get an update with each of our new releases and we will store our library of content on the KTF flickr page, everything is public.

This will add a little bit of water to the desert, but remember, there is real work involved.  KTF is committed to this election with a vision beyond this November.

We are keeping it simple for now.  But what may the future hold?  Building a new army of creative conservatives?  Offering trainings in the creative arts? Holding creative contests for best graphic/video? Potential scholarships to a graphic deisgn school?  Who knows.  What I do know is that we need to get started and the time is now.

You own this work. Take it. Use it. Spread it.

Excellent

Those are some great-looking graphics!  I wish they'd been around six months ago.

Beautiful work.

I'm glad there are talented

I'm glad there are talented people out there to make up for the rest of us. I am the least artistic person on Earth.

"Mommy! Draw a train!"

<pause>

"Mommy that does not look like a train."

Even my stick people turn out crooked.

That's just what McCain needs...

...more propaganda, more form over function. I have seen this kind of mentality at work in other campaigns..."Forget the issues. All we need is a good 30-second nation-wide TV ad and we're in."
