The McCain Report

I would encourage each and everyone of you to go check it out here.

Patrick mentioned that Michael Goldfarb was drafted from the Weekly Standard Blog to go to work at the McCain Campaign's communications shop. Glenn Reynolds said it best when he wrote today that most campaign blogs simply, well, suck.

This one doesn't. This one is actually interesting to read.

There's life in the McCain Campaign yet.....

Agreed!

I have to agree.  I'm very impressed with McCain's blog.  It's a good sign for sure.

It's very bloggy!

It's clean, hip, fun, and best of all, it has ABBA.  If Agnetha can be persuaded to donate her bottom to Victory 2008, Obama's campaign will be nothing more than another footnote in history.

So long as she doesn't try to

So long as she doesn't try to dance again. Yikes!

That blog is pretty funny. It's very casual and fun. Frankly it seems very un-Republican.

Notice how in his entry called "Hillary out" he played up Hillary while simultaneously denigrating Obama? And where the hell did they find a pic of him an Hillary on a boating expedition? Hillary's supporters may have felt like second class citizens by the end of the primary, but they're clearly #1 on everybody's list now.

<Shudder>

However, even in this icy picture, there's probably more warmth here than between Clinton supporters and Obama.

Good site, glad that McCain likes ABBA!

This should be the weblog

I'm estatic the McCain campaign actually has someone weblogging. From being Fred Thompson's weblogger I found a good weblog built an active, energic, and useful community. I see two problems with The McCain Report:

  1. This should be the primary weblog. There's actual content here. It's more than simply the latest campaign video.
  2. It needs comments to let supporters talk with Goldfarb as well as with each other.

This is a good start which can become better.
