Injustice, Insecure – The Fifth Column In Our Justice Department.

Mega kudos to Mark Levin for being all over this. By the way Mark, I’ll back-bench for you any day.

Our Justice Department has been taken over and suborned by radical ACLU types and radicals with direct connections to Islamo-fascist organizations with ties to terrorists. From the top down the Justice Department has become the classic fifth column operating against the interests of the country, our citizens and our national security.

Eric Holder

Our Justice Department has been stacked with leftist-leaning attorneys since the Clinton days and probably before that. George Bush, in a well-meaning but ill-conceived effort to ‘reach out to the other side’, left some holdovers from the previous administration in an effort to appear fair in view of the contested election results. Bad mistake. President Bush hadn’t had time to finish warming the seat in the oval office before they started stabbing him in the back. This is a lesson that should be remembered in 2012.

Eric Holder’s own law firm, Covington and Burling, has represented seventeen Yemenis confined at Guantanamo. Holder himself, as Deputy Attorney General, pushed for the release of sixteen violent FALN Puerto Rican terrorists. Another Obama appointee to the Justice Department was the ACLU attorney for John Walker Lindh, the so-called ‘American Taliban’, Attorney Tony West who was to head the Justice Departments Civil Division.

Tony West

With all respect, this whole thing smells like two week old fish. It’s difficult to see how our national security fits into this picture when the people in our Justice Department are operating diametrically in opposition to the principles of the Constitution of this country. Our Justice Department needs a thorough housecleaning along with both Houses of Congress.

I can't ignore you this time, Skippy.

This is a vile smear of these attorneys' reputations.  No basis or evidence whatsoever is ever presented by the scum like Skippy who make the claim that the attorneys' professional defense of the accused is based on terrorist sympathies.  The accused, even terrorists, are entitled to defense counsel under our system of law.

Skippy either doesn't understand or doesn't respect our justice system.  I don't know or care which it is because Skippy is clearly one of the bedwetter brigade who think the rule of law should be abandoned in the face of terrorism.  Skippy wants the terrorists to win!  (Funny how easy it is to turn a baseless accusation right back on Skippy's dimwitted kind...)

Baloney asinfix, These lawyers went after the Money

There is no historical basis for sending over captured wartime combatants to the good old U.S. of A so they can enjoy the same rights of the Citizens of the USA.
Immigrants are one classification, Illegal Immigrants are another. Combatants captured on the battlefield are yet another "Geneva" classification, not equal to American citizen rights. One of those "Geneva" options involves summarily execution of Terrorists.
Even Foreigners on work visa's have diminished constitutional rights, they can be discriminated against for Race, creed, or color and have no legal recourse while in a non Immigrant status.
One WH lawyer as a defender of Rich Jihadists is not the same as 9 of the same background.
9 represents a trend, and a lousy trend at that for an American Justice department. It stinks to high heaven.
Gitmo isn't closed yet, another BS OB promise to the anti war code pinko moonbat Scum. But I digress.
Your falsle accusations of Skip, showed your immature emotional mindset of supporting Terror loving money grubbing Lawyers before you even pause to meditate and think that "this is highly unusual".......such a prominent concentration of Terror chasing lawyers connected to the Obama administration and AG Justice dept. friends. A gathering of Chicago Jihad supporters ? Questions certainly arise. Diversity of backgrounds, or a Concentration of common cause ?
Skip did not make any FALSE claims, what Skip said was these lawyers have previously acted for, or associated with, Groups who are "diametrically in opposition to the principles of the Constitution of this country".
We waterboard to save lives. It worked, and the lawyers who defend Scumbag Terrorists are not the most desirable choices for the Justice Department, representing American values.
But not to worry, I anticipate a decline in captured battlefield combatants in the Afghan theatre. The military boots on the ground are going to administrate more timely justice to Terrorists, as an alternative to what seems to be the BHOle Justice dept. option.

Our Constitution calls for

Our Constitution calls for summarily executing people before they are charged and found guilty?  Please cite the passage.

We waterboard to save lives.

Nope, that Cheney lie has been disproven.  Jose Padilla was arrested three months before the waterboarding started.  Cheney waterboarded to give bedwetters a false sense of security.  And in the process, assured that we have no basis to complain when our soldiers are subjected to the same and various other 'enhanced interrogation' techniques that now have a U.S. Government stamp of approval around the globe.

Pay attention Asynfish, I said Geneva classification

Geneva Convention
noun
one of a series of international agreements, first made in Geneva, Switzerland, in 1864, establishing rules for the humane treatment of prisoners of war and of the sick, the wounded, and the dead in battle.

Geneva Convention for wartime justice states that an Enemy out of uniform caught behind enemy lines killing un armed citizens, can be Shot, executed if caught.
Constitution doesn't start with a "G".

Geneva Convention for wartime

Geneva Convention for wartime justice states that an Enemy out of uniform caught behind enemy lines killing un armed citizens, can be Shot, executed if caught.

Okey dokey then -- how do *armed* U.S. troops conducting summary executions "on the ground" as you advocate, on Afghan soil, receive Geneva protections?

Returning for a moment to your first response:

what Skip said was these lawyers have previously acted for, or associated with, Groups who are "diametrically in opposition to the principles of the Constitution of this country".

Skippy didn't mention a single terrorist organization that these lawyers have been affiliated with, let alone document a connection.  I imagine that in the fevered world of imagination that you and Skippy live in, the ACLU is a 'terrorist' organization.  Sane people know that it's not.

Perhaps MoveOn dot Troll would welcome your confusion?

Perhaps the Daily KOS or move On dot confused would be more your cup of Troll ?
I'd recommend you doing some research on the Geneva Convention but that may be uh, out of your reach.
Oh, and some friendly advice, don't join the military, that might not work out for you.
I hear Daily Kos calling for an Obot........you're extremely qualified.........Cast your anger upon that address.....they need you there, go now my son.
