Obama, Did You Hear Us? The Nation Did.

Maybe not. After all, we have noted that our President is on a really narrow bandwidth. It was not merely the harbinger of November, it was the voice of the nation howling in outrage at the machinations of the regime.

The collective conscience of the nation demands an account for the purposeful destruction of our economy, the treacherous behavior of a rogue government at the hands of a narcissistic ideologue that is pursuing a clearly Marxist/Socialist attack against the social and economic fabric of America. The reckoning cannot come one day too soon as Americans reel from more job losses, while the government falsifies its own figures in the comic-opera fashion familiar to us from such economic geniuses as Mao, Stalin and Castro.

Obama, his administration and his DeMarxist supporters in Congress have been wrong on so many levels it becomes difficult to keep track of and I’m sure there’s some intent there. Layers of smoke and mirrors. Just as there was intent behind the purposefully convoluted and vague language of the health care bill. It’s only now that we are getting glimpses of some of the poison pill aspects of this onerous legislation. Americans have every right to be peed. We’ve been lied to time and time again by people who swore to us they could be trusted.

November is going to be a fundamental change in the way business is being done in Washington and the country. With an increasingly unstable world out there, with war clouds looming over the Middle East, we give away military advantage after advantage to Barack Hussein Obama’s servile appeasement of our sworn enemies, while Americans fight and die to preserve freedom for the world.

Foxaganda

Wow, that was an amazingly deluded volley of not-very-clever insults, foxaganda and apoplexy all rolled into one.  Congratulations on your masterpiece Skip, I'm rarely impressed.  Unfortunately for your parties political ambitions, the economy actually is recovering.  And at a much faster rate than the Europeans who didn't have an economic stimulus package.  But please don't let little things like facts and figures get in the way of your blatantly partisan, vitriolic screed.

If you want to complain that Obama isn't doing enough to facilitate our recovery and bring back more jobs, I might agree.  Although I'm sure our solutions would be very different.  Wingnuts believe in the demostrably false economic theory of cutting spending and taxcuts for the rich.  In other words - trickle down economics.  My solution would be the exact opposite - another stimulus package focusing strickly on rebuilding our crumbling infrastructure and a strong commitment to building a green economy.

As for job growth, I would have to agree that 41,000 jobs created in the private sector last month isn't spectacluar, but that's still 41,000 more jobs than have been created in the entire last 10 years!  This is what conservative economic policies have given us:

There has been zero net job creation since December 1999. No previous decade going back to the 1940s had job growth of less than 20 percent. Economic output rose at its slowest rate of any decade since the 1930s as well.

Middle-income households made less in 2008, when adjusted for inflation, than they did in 1999 -- and the number is sure to have declined further during a difficult 2009. The Aughts were the first decade of falling median incomes since figures were first compiled in the 1960s.

The numbers don't lie the way pundits and pinheads do. Tax cuts for the rich, deregulation, crony capitalism and unfettered free trade don't work, period. And by the way, I'm criticizing Clinton-era corporatism and NAFTA as well here.

At some point, I would think conservatives might rethink their ideology? But I don't see that happening anytime soon. In fact, because of the weak economy and the consequent blame falling on the party in power, conservatives seem emboldened and well positioned to make a mild come back politically. This won't be good for the country and won't help wingnuts in the long term.  In fact, they will actually misconstrue their temporary electoral success with validation of their failed economic policies.

By the way Skip, ever think of providing a link or two to back up your preposterous assertions?  Offering a washed-up, halfwitted "comedian" sponsored by worldnutdaily as proof is pathetic and funny (funny as in were laughing at you, not with you, kind of way).

Obama's liberal Ideology needs to be "rethunk"

Anyone smarter than a 5th Grader can figure out how Americans recovered from the last 11 Recessions since 1940, and it wasn't out of Control Government spending and Taxing the rich.

It wasn't class warfare.   It wasn't Keynesian economics.   It wasn't Socialism.  It wasn't government owning General Motors, and it wasn't ACORN, and it sure was not any dumass Community Organizer who was ashamed of his College Transcripts.

The 2007 Democrat majority Congress "owns" this recession, and Obama owns the Deficits for which he asked.   And after November, Americans will "Own" Congress and will start the recovery without Obama's friends spending American into the poor house.
