Shakeup at MSNBC - KO & CM demoted

Kevin McCullough grabbed it first. MSNBC execs have wised up and relegated their most partisan talking heads to limited duty. Olbermann and Matthews have lost their anchor slots and been relegated to analyst duty at least for the debates as well as election night coverage.

Smart move for MSNBC but it won't remove the partisan taint especially with the network planning to retain KO through 2013.

NBC Should Be Embarrassed

I'm fine with having liberal hosts, but don't pretend like they're objective news anchors.  That's exactly what NBC was trying to do with Keith Olberman and Chris Matthews.  These two clowns were nothing but partisan, Democrat hacks.  They didn't even try to hide their over-the-top bias.

MSNBC may have slightly better ratings with these two at the helm (still a pathetic and distant last place, and Fox News dwarfs its viewership) but the damage it does to the flagship NBC network and its news division far outweighs MSNBC gaining a hundred thousand additional viewers.

Olberman and Matthews have the potential to destroy whatever remaining reputation of objectivity NBC News has, similar to what Dan Rather did to CBS News.

I'm concerned about Maddow too.

She seems to, unfortunately, be of the Olbermann mold, and is being given her own show now on MSNBC.

Don't you realize how valuable to the GOP having an entire network acting like spiteful MOONBATS is to the NEWRIGHT? These Libaloons were so insipid that they were revolting to other Democrats. Not Liberals mind you but people that call themselves Democrats simply because they haven't experienced the mental breakthrough that distancing themselves from the unhinged left that must take place before any person can escape the state of Liberalism that we are all born into.

Remember this my friends. The presence of Moonbats on MSNBC,Cspan call-in show 'Washington Journal,Moonbats calling into radio programs, violent protest by 'PEACENIKS',Cynthia Mckinney,Cindy Sheehan and pretty much every uneducated,mislead and misguided person of color that has been HypnOtized by the Left.

We need Black Moonbats to call Condoleeza Rice an "Aunt Jemima" in front of a large audience. We need Black Moonbats to call Colin Powell, Michael Steele and J.C Watts "Uncle Tom" in front of a large audience. We need Kieth Olberman and Tingles Matheuws to conduct themselves like drooling simpletons as they play to their Moonbat base at the Daily Kook as they all create fresh steaming material to share with every American that will listen.

I see this decision by NBC as damaging to the momentum that the NEWRIGHT is suddenly expereincing as we suddenly lurch forward , being pulled along by SARAH AMERICAN,The HUNTRESS.

Rachel Madcow will last at most 6  months because the presence of SARAH AMERICAN The Huntress has changed the entire WORLD that had existed around politics. Everything 'Tose People' say , bark or bellow now seems sooo stale and contrived. Just listen to Hilary wailing into a microphone' No Way, No How, No McCain!".......    Ouch. So while Dems continue to go on Fox News, legitimizing them, and while Obama gives O'Reilly a ratings bonanza, showing the whole country how he can abuse, talk over, and interrupt the Democratic presidential nominee, Republicans are playing hardball and winning.

Just more evidence that their side plays the game far better than ours. Politics is a contact sport, which puts us at a huge disadvantage when only one side seems to grasp the rules

Is Olbermann a "biased" liberal? Yep. What about Mathews? He's politically schizo. Early in the primary season he stated on "Hardball" that McCain is the only candidate who deserves to be president". That's hardly a liberal bias and it's not his only pro republican outburst or commmentary. Were he and Olbermann demoted? No! Owing to discussions ongoing between "straight news" reporters who raised objections concerning the dual role they(Olbermann&Matthews) played at the station, Olbermann requested a meeting with management in order to discuss whether or not  the dual role was appropriate.  The result of his requesting the clarification of his status was an agreement that, despite managements previous statements of support, it was not in the best interests of the station to continue in that vein. This will only free up Keith to be even more partisan and for Chris to be even more unfocused and boring.

A station that employs Joe Scarborough, Patrick J. Boocanon and the treacherous Mike Murphy, in addition to numerous other conservative republicans, as featured political prognosticators can hardly be accused of institutional bias. That would be like claiming that Fox News is the OFFICIAL ORGAN of the REPUBLICAN PARTY, rather than the fair and balanced news organization that any true, blue blooded American knows it to be. Mika B. has become so exteme with her criticisms of "the liberal elite media"  and its "attacks" on Rev. Palin that I fear she's about to come unglued! Dan Abrams? Since when is he a conservative? Boring? You bet your bippy. He's had two really bad shows canceled. Tucker Carlson? He had less viewers than John Gibson over at Fox. Get real-nobody watched his show and on a third place network that's a problem.

what he means is that it doesn't matter whether they play soccer with an Adidas Fevernova or with a decapitated head, the only important thing is that they win.  They think that going medieval on us is what's meant by "grasping the rules".  Palin and McCain are schooling them that scorched earth politics are so Over.  Democrats need to stop with the decapitation already and get a better game on with some good players who have real skillz.
