Where to, GOP?
Submitted by Undaunted Pundit on Sat, 06/07/2008 - 20:07
The first order of business in taking back the GOP from scuz-buckets in office who've been satisfied to outdo rotten Democrats is to identify and segregate [even though that's a baaad word] those in office who've earned support from those that deserve the door, or worse.
Thoughtful ideas will be gratefully accepted. Hanging is probably not gonna work these days. But most other methods will be cheerfully considered.
Put on your thinking caps and get back pronto.

I prefer "Terminate" to "Segregate"
And in California, we put Arnold Schwarzenegger at the top of the list of Terminatees. We are $7M deeper in debt now than we were at the beginning of his term, when he promised to balance the budget. His "green" initiatives are punishing business owners and causing their exodus as well as West Coast ports losing business to East Coast ports. Schwarzenegger is in bed with CEO Jeffrey Immelt to host a $3M Governors Conference at Universal Studios which would allegedly "save the taxpayers money". So what does GE get in return besides "good will"? And why would our Governor be doing business with a corporation that [indirectly] does business with an Iranian terror sponsor responsible for killing our troops in Iraq and threatening to wipe Israel off the face of the earth?
I'm not as exercised about the social issues as I am about the economy, but he's got a hell of a lot of 'splaining to do with both fiscal and social conservatives, not to mention families whose children are going to schools which already offer low educational standards and are laying off even more key staff. The National Guard, who were doing a fantastic job on the border, have now all been released. Now we're facing a statewide drought and I'm having visions of "China Town" with Jack Nicholson. That crisis, coupled with our new trend to burn Southern California completely to the ground every October, is just bad, bad, bad news. We definitely need a complete overhaul in the Governor's office. I'm hoping Carly Fiorina will consider a run because Sarah Palin's already got a job as Governor.
