College prof: Obama Logo like a swastika - Correction a Christian Cross

Officials at Eastfield College, a Dallas-area public college, are banning crosses, menorahs and other religious items from their ceramics classes. A ceramics instructor compared the cross to a swastika in trying to explain why crosses were not permitted. When Eastfield adopted a “no symbols” policy and applied it to only religious symbols, including crosses, Joe Mitchell, a retired Dallas resident and student at Eastfield, consulted with Liberty Legal Institute to put an end to the religious discrimination.

“I felt humiliated and that my spirituality was being demeaned,” said Joe Mitchell, retired Dallas resident and student at Eastfield College. “The whole point of art is to express who you are.”
