Anyone still questioning the President's birth status, please follow the link.  I appreciate the desire to click our heels together and make it all go away, but that's a fantasy we can't afford right now.  Aside from the all too obvious Springsteen reference, I agree completely with the editorial linked above.  Far more valuable uses of our time, energy, and credibility exist.  For starters, how about putting pressure on the FEC to investigate President Obama's campaign finances?

Even If he wasn't born in the USA...

We can't do anything about the birth certificate.  Even though he was born in Kenya or over internation waters, If you research Act 96 from the link below.  All it took was a sworn witness and 5 bucks to get you an authentic birth certificate.  They even ran birth announcements for you in the paper.  (hmmm, this is weird how they have been pushing the birth announcements) Unless there is a youtube clip of the birth...I think we screwed.

I'm confused...

Why does it matter where he was born?

His mother was a natural born citizen. Of that there is no doubt. Therefore he is, right? Or am I misreading the Naturalization Act of 1790?

Your misreading

Here are the requirements if the child is born outside the U.S. Neither apply to Hussein if he was actually born outside the U.S. and therefore making his presidency void.  So you are correct in saying it doesn't matter about his mother, but its his father, the islamic terrorist, that is the issue.

  • Any one born outside the United States, both of whose parents are citizens of the U.S., as long as one parent has lived in the U.S.
  • Any one born outside the United States, if one parent is a citizen and lived in the U.S. for at least one year and the other parent is a U.S. national

The Constitutional Requirement...

cjbreisch,

The issue is not so much citizenship as the constitutional requirement for the presidency: you have to be a "natural born citizen", which is to say, born on United States soil, not naturalized.  So the citizenship of his parents is irrelevant.  If he were born on foreign soil, he is ineligible to be president.  There were issues with Goldwater and McCain in the same light, having been born in the territories and on a military base respectively.  That said, as the link suggests, there is little evidence to support the foreign born thesis.  Furthermore, it's worth pointing out that if evidence did emerge today to prove he was foreign born, we'd have a full on constitutional crisis.  What would be the next step?  Void the election?  Does McCain win?  Another election?  Does Biden take over until then?  Bring Bush back?  There is no mechanism for handling such a situation in the constitution.  Scary, huh?

Solution

Charge Barack with Perjury.  Void the election and therefore making Biden unemployed, and throw Pelosi in jail just because we can.  Then put Newt in as acting president until the next election.
